Bereavement and Dealing with loved ones who are currently unwell.
During this difficult time, some of us may be trying to cope with a bereavement of a loved one or we may have a loved one who is unwell and currently in hospital. The change in practice means that we do not always have the opportunity to say goodbye or grieve together with family and friends. This is an exceptionally difficult period for individuals. You do not need to struggle alone. If you want any support or guidance in confidence please contact one of our team at AKSWB via the IIUK directory, or email akswb@iiuk.org. We are here to support you during this difficult time.

ITREB Thought of the Day: #SoulfulSunday
Many of us tend to make plans for our lives and envision achieving certain aims by certain points. However, life happens to all of us, and can throw us off course from time to time. Right now, many of us feel stuck in limbo, unable to move forward. While remaining grateful for being safe and healthy, we might feel uncertain about what the future holds. However, it can be comforting to know that we can always follow the light in our soul. Much like a fairytale character lost in a dark wood, frightened and alone; a journey through the woods can offer its own kind of beauty and richness. As murids of the Imam, we can feel secure in the knowledge that we are never alone, and that our faith provides a guiding light. On the other side of the forest, we can emerge transformed, lighter and brighter, braver and more confident for having moved through that darkness, and towards the light.
