This means that adults will be presumed to be organ donors when they pass away unless they have specifically recorded a decision not to be an organ donor. ITREB Thought of the Day
The blessings of Iftaar: There is hadith of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) reported by Tirmidhi that says,
‘Whoever feeds a person breaking their fast will earn the same reward as them, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person’.
As the month of Ramadan nears a close, let us reflect on the words of the Prophet and consider the value that Islam places, during its holiest month, on the act of giving. Sharing from the blessings showered on us from Allah’s bounty is equal, according to this hadith, to the devotion entailed in an entire day of fasting.
This Ramadan, how can we share with our brothers and sisters in Islam from the bounty of Allah’s blessings on us?
