The truth is that I represent an institution and this institution does not come and go. There, is where all my time and my happiness is, working within that institution...I think that every individual who has the possibility to contribute to the quality of life is a happy individual. You have a purpose... I think the worst of disasters is having a life without purpose.

Business Mentoring Programme - Mentees & Mentors Wanted
For a number of years the Business Mentoring Programme (BMP) has supported entrepreneurs in the UK Jamat by pairing them with successful Ismaili business mentors who provide advice and guidance to entrepreneurs on their journey.
Due to the recent disruptions to businesses across the country, BMP would like to support members of the Jamat who operate businesses in retail, hospitality, healthcare, technology, real estate and professional services, as well as those who are self-employed.
If you think you and your business would benefit from mentoring, please get in touch! Equally, if you are a business owner and have experience in navigating a business through a period of uncertainty, we would love to speak to you about the prospects of becoming a business mentor.
To register your interest, please email us on akepb.bmp@iiuk.org

ITREB Thought of the Day
Two years ago this week, the Jamat was in the midst of celebrating Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Diamond Jubilee visit to the United Kingdom, marking a special blessing and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Following the conclusion of the Diamond Jubilee year, a special edition digital magazine was produced by The Ismaili, detailing Hazar Imam’s visits to various regions of the world in 2017-18, including his meetings with the Jamat, and with world leaders. The magazine is interactive, and includes the ability to watch videos, view speeches, scroll through photos, and more. It can be accessed on all devices. To reminisce and reflect on the Diamond Jubilee year, click here.
