We are Shia Muslims and therefore the community has an Imam, whose appointment is hereditary. But broadly speaking, I think we are seen as an asset in most of the countries where we live. And we are encouraged to extend our institutions, to transform community institutions into national institutions. We have done this with our economic, educational and healthcare institutions.

ITREB Thought of the Day
The beautiful names of Allah: Al-Fattah is the Opener. It is Allah who opens the door to happiness, success and endless possibilities. The most precious key that al-Fattah holds is the key that opens our hearts. Have you ever seen the clouds open and glorious sunshine pour into the world? Or have you seen flower buds open in a blaze of colour in spring? It is through openings like these that beauty flows into the world. Open-hearted people are the greatest sign. Al-fattah has opened their hearts so that love can flow in. Their hearts are open to all people, no matter what their background or religion, and their minds are open to new ideas too. This takes courage, love and patience. Do you hold doors open for people? Are there small ways you make life easier for people and open the way for them?
